The Full Moon in August of 2025

(Peak fullness of the moon is reached on the 9th, it's energies remain potent for many days after it's peak but can in fact be tapped in to at any time)


There is a feeling of huge change in the air. Tyranny worldwide is being exposed at a rapid rate, communities of like-minded humans are forming in large numbers, systems of control and propaganda are panicking, unimaginable truths are coming to light, the earth and the cosmos alike are erupting with prophesied cataclysmic events and the amount of people ready for change is at an all-time high. An era of sudden and deep change to our world looks to be just over the horizon.


However, it's important to acknowledge that even though a shift is making itself known, the energies bouncing around and the powers still in play cause dark times to fall over many humans all over the world who face unspeakable loss and tragedy. Those people, we should all be aware of and hold close in our hearts.


Some of us may completely disconnect from things that don't affect us directly, thinking we must stay in a disassociative "high vibrational" bubble only consuming information associated with benefiting our own individual fields. But we are all one, all connected, all equals and must be careful not to sugar coat energetical shifts that may negatively impact other people's lives.

Empathy and compassion should always be our compass. There is no need for guilt in our excitement for big worldly changes to occur, but it's important to be mindful of our speech and let those who are in struggle and suffering be in our prayers for protection, guidance and unconditional love.


For those of us lucky enough to have the freedom to live and breathe in safety at this current moment in time: there are some big changes to all of our lives that must be made so we have the opportunity to become lighthouses for others.


To be able to truly help others and help the world in a meaningful way, we must first heal ourselves of many wounds. The majority of those who don't think they need any healing often have wounds buried deep in the subconscious. Very few people have healed ALL that needs to be healed, but by making a genuine start we already become more rooted in our roles as helpers and can instantly offer more of ourselves to those in need.


There are many disciplines and practices that help initiate deep inner-healing but all anyone really needs is the curiosity to delve within and really explore their inner selves and nature's gifts. One of the many ways we can utilise natural energies to help assist us on our journeys of self discovery, healing and fulfilment is tuning into the flow of the moon's cycle and working with it with pure intentions.


The Full Moon in August carries energies of perseverance, resilience, strength, inner-power, gratitude, growth, release, community and breakthrough. This brings the perfect opportunity to tune into the exact energies collectively needed to help assist us through present world dynamics as well as individual trials.


It's important to remember that these types of energies are available to us at all times, but when the moon phase brings in new vibrations it is an especially potent time to intentionally tune in to them. If you follow the cycles each month you notice a beautiful pattern of divine timing aligning the energies offered with what the collective may need/want guidance on at that time.


The moon works as a reflection and an amplifier, she is the mother of release and renewal. If we choose to work with her cycles, she cradles us in guidance and support paving the way for rebirth. However, with inner-transformation comes many winding roads we'd rather run from than traverse when faced head on, this is the battle that must be conquered in order to take the first step into our real but unawakened destinies.

To align ourselves with the energy of this full-moon lets explore some practices:


There exists a plethora of different full moon meditations, intentions, rituals, affirmations, release exercises and so on to follow out there. But to align with the energies of this August full moon and for the purpose of the current times we are living in, I'd like to offer some affirmations and practices that help us tap in to our individual and collective strength as well as initiate the release of deep blockages.


Follow along aloud or in your minds eye, it's up to you. However, speaking words out into reality holds deeper resonance so if you are comfortable to do so I'd advise verbalising.


Affirmations are incredibly important and help sync our mind, body and spirits up with our desired truths. Affirmations hold their power in speech that pertains to the present moment, so even if you do not feel these things about yourself as you say them, allow yourself to continue through any discomfort that arises as the subconscious must listen to what is being said in order for change to occur. Return to these affirmations whenever you like, it doesn't have to be only on this particular full moon. When affirmations are repeated daily for several months our subconscious starts to shift dramatically and what we believe about ourselves and our capabilities do too, which changes how we show up for ourselves and other people.


If you find yourself drawn to this as a modality of healing and alignment then please feel free to use this list for your daily affirmations if you so wish. There are endless lists of different kinds of affirmations to explore out there too, or better yet write out your own that are personal to you and feel resonant with your desired truths.



Affirmations:


  • I am a force, powerful and strong. My heart. lights the way and I stand for love, freedom and justice.


  • I am balanced. I have healed myself so I can help others. I experience soul bliss.


  • I am one with all. I am connected to all things. I am part of the infinite.


  • I am grateful for my life and the freedom it brings. I am thankful for my continuous soul growth and ability to rise above tribulations.


  • I let go of all that does not serve my highest good. I let go of all that does not serve the highest good of the all. I release all stagnant energy. I welcome and invite in re-vitalising positive energies.


  • I am grateful for the air I breathe, the water I drink and the sun that rises everyday. I am thankful to the infinite for all I have, all I am and all that is natural and part of divine will.


  • I am a lighthouse for all. I light the way through the goodness of my heart, the balance of my mind and the enlightenment of my soul.


  • I persevere through all challenges like a willow through all seasons. I stand firm through all battles like an ancient oak through the ages. I am resilient.


  • I release all blockages now. I cut all ties with things, people, places and situations that no longer serve the highest good of myself and the highest good of all.


  • I am love. I am loved. I am protected. I am free.



Now let's explore a second practice which incorporates breathing exercises with visualisation. Before we begin, please make sure you're seated comfortably. If you'd like to put on some relaxing background music then do so now.


We're going to do 9 rounds of heart centred light breathing in a 3-6-9 pattern. Here's how to do it:


  • Take a big deep breath in through your nose and into your belly for 3 seconds, hold your breath for 6 seconds and the breathe out slowly through your mouth for 9 seconds.


  • Whilst you inhale, imagine a bright golden light beaming healing from the sun and the heavens into your heart.


  • During your breath-hold imagine the healing light warming your entire being with the most comforting glow.


  • On the exhale imagine the light shooting down through your feet, rooting you into the earth.


  • Repeat this 3-6-9 breathing pattern paired with the visualisation 9 times before returning to normal.


This breathing exercise balances our mind, body and spirit whilst grounding us firmly in the present moment. It can most certainly help initiate healing and is especially potent when practiced with the paired visualisation.


Intentional breathwork is an incredibly strong modality for healing, and just like any other practice it's most beneficial and transformational results occur with time, dedication and discipline. Repetitive practice will shift subconscious programming and patterning from destructive to healthy without the need for thought or speech.
